DeDe Flounlacker, Executive Director of Manna Food Pantry, is a representative of one of the twenty-two nonprofits enrolled in PSC’s inaugural certification program. A member of the Center’s Advisory Council, De also serves as a 2024 Faculty Member of the Center, training other class members. Her guidance is a valuable addition to the program.
Through her work at Manna, DeDe is tasked with tuning into and communicating the food-related needs of vulnerable populations within the overall community while aiming to engage others in the fight against hunger.
Though she is an experienced leader, DeDe has noted how instrumental the content that she’s learned has been in helping her team better communicate, stay on track with their long-term goals, and grow together.
“Every training is relevant and delivered by knowledgeable professionals,” DeDe shared. “The PSC Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Philanthropy is an incredible asset for our community. Thank you for making this resource a reality!”
In 2023, Manna Food Pantry provided 925,445 meals to nearly 87,000 community members facing food insecurity in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Upon graduating from the PSC Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Philanthropy certification program, Manna’s organization will have acquired the knowledge, skills, and accreditation necessary to continue their mission of creating a hunger-free community.
