“I love gleaning best practices and learning how to keep my nonprofit business upholding quality standard,” says Paula Shell, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida (BBBS of NWFL). Paula is attending PSC’s inaugural Organizational Excellence certification program to continue serving our community at the highest level. She especially enjoyed a presentation from Dr. Lynsey Listau, PSC’s Executive Director of Equal Opportunity Compliance, on best practices in human resources.
Serving Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay Counties since 1989, BBBS of NWFL provides one-to-one mentoring services for children to change their perspective and give them the opportunity to reach their potential. It is no surprise that Paula is a successful leader of her organization as she takes every opportunity to improve systems, partnerships and effectiveness.
