“As a nonprofit director who is relatively new to the role, the learning curve has been steep. That’s why I explored opportunities that provided more than just an instruction manual. The workshops offered by the Pensacola State College Nonprofit Center are exactly what I was looking for. From in-depth guidance through the maze of nonprofit finances to creative ways of making the big ‘ask’ to understanding best practices in the world of philanthropy, the workshops are quality experiences in which to learn from seasoned professionals who are handpicked to pass on the knowledge they’ve acquired through the years. I plan to attend as many of these as I can, knowing that each one will help me successfully lead an organization that serves to help children and families affected by autism in the Gulf Coast area.”
