Executive Director, Reverend Ashley Wilkinson Meyer, represents United Ministries and their mission of serving families in crisis. They operate as an agent of grace in the world. This year, United Ministries joined twenty-one other locally based nonprofit organizations enrolled in Pensacola State College’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Philanthropy certification program.

In her role, Rev. Ashley connects families in need of financial assistance to resources that aid in stability, encouragement, and spiritual support. Her organization aims for all families seeking relief to achieve a sense of hope that extends past their first point of contact.

By the end of 2024, Rev. Wilkinson Meyer anticipates her team will grow new-found confidence as they strengthen their capabilities to tackle everything from day-to-day nonprofit challenges to organized capital campaigns.

“I am grateful for the PSC Center for Nonprofit Excellence,” Rev. Ashley shared. “Our staff, volunteers, and board members are becoming more knowledgeable and empowered with practical applications of best practices. I truly believe these trainings are helping us to become more effective in our mission to help families in crisis in our community.”

Just last year, United Ministries served 337 families and changed the lives of 588 individuals in Pensacola and the surrounding communities. Through accreditation from PSC’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Philanthropy, United Ministries will gain the tools needed to be able to expand their organization’s impact.
