Dane MacKendrick, owner of video production company DANE MAC Studios, is one of several voluntary mentors for the PSC Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Philanthropy during its inaugural, year-long certification program. With over forty years of experience working in film and television production, Dane has mastered visual communication that engages and inspires viewers.

Dane’s prowess in communication and affinity for producing mission-driven stories makes him an ideal fit as a mentor to the twenty-two organizations undergoing the certification process. In order to effectively serve the nonprofits he helps advise within the certification program, Dane can be found attending monthly trainings to further his own knowledge on the various areas of nonprofit management.

“To truly be in the nonprofit world you have to go beyond the everyday way-of-doing and answer a call of passion,” Dane expressed. “Every speaker that’s part of this certification program is both informative and inspiring.  They fan the flames and bring the wisdom that gets you fired up to set goals that you plan to exceed.”

Later this fall, he looks forward to sharing his experience and expertise as he leads a full-day nonprofit training on grateful communication. Through his company’s specialization in animation, cinematography, and motion graphics Dane aims to awaken attendees’ creativity and help them formulate their own plans to visually communicate their gratitude and impact.
